Get fit is a place to come and transform your body! I work with each individual to develop a plan for you that combines changes in movement and eating that will transform any person's fitness level.
Don't worry- I keep it simple- no hard selling supplements, locking you into year long memberships, or calling you incessantly if you don't come in. This is a place for people who are ready for change, and every person who is here WANTS to be here!
This creates a community of fun, support, and accountability with real people! However, we do want the best for you so we will push for your best by holding you accountable to your personal goals. If you don't make working out a priority there is no way you can reach your goals, so all you need to be able to do is show up! Each training session is provided in small groups to keep the fee affordable, but each person is pushed to their optimum fitness level to continue challenging and engaging their body!
Wondering if this is a cardio or a weights workout? The answer is Yes! Each workout is focused on building muscle, increasing flexibility, and improving endurance in a way that burns a ton of calories. In addition, the muscle building that takes place allows you to burn more calories throughout the day, even when you aren't working out! Did you know that each pound of muscle that burns about 30 times the amount of calories as a pound of fat?
So what do you do?
Have you ever started a fitness program, class, video, etc. that worked great at first and then you found your results stopped? Our bodies are made to change and adapt very quickly. When it comes to fitness, that may mean that our bodies will learn to do the same movements more efficiently and effectively, with fewer calories, and less weight loss.
Good news here! You will not have to worry about getting bored and having the same workout over and over again! You will be challenged and surprised each day!
So what about the trainers- are they going to hurt me?
Your trainer will absolutely push you! I started Get Fit Guaranteed because I wanted to be able to reach REAL people and help them get fit. I wanted to provide a space where someone like my mom (who you can see in the Success Stories) would feel safe and comfortable working out.
In addition, as an athlete who was injured at a young age, I understand the impact of injuries on your whole life. I won't think you are faking, weak, or dumb for listening to your body's signals. I will work with you to find an alternate movement that will help you improve your fitness level, and protect you from future injury! Having worked previously exclusively with people recovering from injury, I can help you work through just about any injury.
What if I am looking for a TOUGH trainer?
I train real people, and some of those real people are fitness fanatics. In fact, one person was referred by a friend who was struggling to get in shape. Her fitness fanatic friend thought that I couldn't possibly work her out effectively while training her friend at the same time! She admitted quickly that she was wrong!
